  1. `antora serve` stays supplemental — for now

Upstream closed #1202. The live preview loop ships as antora-serve. Full argument on the blog; here is the tracker progression and where things stand.

  2. Unversioned component URLs

The former alias-component-to-latest extension is now unversioned-component-urls — choose selector (default) or alias-to-latest for bare /component/ paths.

  3. The welcome site is live — and it has a news desk

antora-supplemental.github.io is the organization front door, now with a news feed for releases and hard calls.

  4. Stop pasting the “latest” redirect. Install it.

alias-component-to-latest packages Antora’s component-to-latest redirect so versioned sites install it instead of copy-pasting.

  5. Valentus: chrome that fixes the defaults

Valentus is composed Antora doc-site chrome with bundled dark mode — and practical fixes for Default UI and Lunr pain.

  6. `antora serve` was declined. We shipped it anyway.

antora-serve brings generate, serve, watch, and live-reload for Antora playbooks. Optional dirty-set rebuilds via antora-incremental.

  7. Dark mode is an overlay. Treat it like one.

antora-dark-mode is a supplemental overlay: toggle, system preference, FOUC prevention — without owning ui.bundle.

  8. Supplemental is not a soft fork of Antora

Why antora-supplemental exists: fill GitHub-shaped gaps Antora will not maintain, without competing with the core toolchain.
